Mobile Wallet FAQ

Now you can enjoy all the benefits of your Citizens National Bank Mastercard® with Apple Pay on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac. Using Apple Pay is simple, and it works with the devices you use every day. Your card information is secure because it isn’t stored on your device or shared when you pay. Paying in stores, apps, and on the web has never been easier, safer, or more private.*
Get started by adding your Citizens National Bank Mastercard® to your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac.
To add your card to Apple Pay:

  • On iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign. From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
  • Add to Watch from iPhone:  Open the Watch app and select “Wallet & Apple Pay,” then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
  • Add directly to Watch: Open the Wallet app, tap the ellipses, select "Add Card." From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
  • On iPad, go to Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay,” and select “Add Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
  • On Mac, click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen, select System Settings, scroll down in the sidebar and click 'Wallet & Apple Pay," and select “Add Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
To pay in stores, authenticate using Touch ID or Face ID, then just hold iPhone near the reader. You’ll see “Done” on the display, along with a subtle vibration and beep, letting you know your payment information was sent. On Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch up to the reader. A gentle tap and beep confirm that your payment information was sent.*

To use Apple Pay for online purchases on a website or inside an app, look for the Apple Pay button at checkout.

Using Apple Devices (Safari or Supported Apps)
  • Select Apple Pay as your payment method at checkout.
  • Review your information: Check that your shipping address, billing details, and contact info are correct. Tap your card if you want to switch to a different saved card.
  • Confirm the payment:
    • iPhone / iPad with Face ID: Double-click the side button and glance at your screen.
    • iPhone / iPad with Touch ID: Place your registered finger on the Home button.
    • Mac with Touch ID: Place your finger on the Touch ID sensor in the Function row.
    • Apple Watch: Double-click the side button on your watch.
Using Non-Apple Devices or Chrome/Edge/Firefox
  • Select Apple Pay at checkout in your browser.
  • A QR code will pop up on your computer or phone screen.
  • Open the Camera app on your iPhone and scan the code.
  • Follow the prompt on your iPhone to confirm the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

Google Pay with your Citizens National Bank Mastercard®.

You can set up a debit card on Google Pay using either the Google Wallet app on your smartphone or through a web browser on your computer.

On Android or iPhone (Google Wallet App)

  1. Open the Google Wallet app (or download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

  2. Tap Add to Wallet (or the + sign) at the bottom right.

  3. Select Payment card, then tap New credit or debit card.

  4. Use your camera to scan the front of your card, or tap Enter details manually.

  5. Verify your card details (expiration date and CVC code), then read and accept the Issuer Terms.

  6. Choose a verification method (such as an SMS text code or email) and enter the code sent by your bank.

On a Computer (Web Browser)

  1. Go to pay.google.com and sign in to your Google Account.

  2. Click on Payment methods in the left sidebar menu.

  3. Click Add payment method.

  4. Enter your debit card details and billing address.

  5. Click Save (you may be prompted to verify the card via text or bank app).

To use Google Pay / Google Wallet, the operating system requirements depend on how and where you are paying:

Mobile Devices & Smartwatches

  • Android Phones & Tablets: Requires Android 9.0 (Pie) or higher. (Note: Tap-to-pay in stores also requires built-in NFC support).

  • Smartwatches: Requires Wear OS 2.x or higher.

  • iPhones / iPads: Google Wallet tap-to-pay is not supported on iOS (Apple restricts tap-to-pay chip access on iPhones to Apple Pay). However, you can use Google Pay for online purchases inside apps or websites via Chrome/Safari on iOS.

Computers & Web Browsers

  • Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, or Linux: No specific OS is required—you just need a modern web browser (Google Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox) to use Google Pay for online checkouts at pay.google.com or on supported shopping websites.

Easy to Use
Google Pay works anywhere you see these symbols at checkout. Just unlock your phone and hold it near the terminal. You don’t even need to open an app.
 
Paying in Apps and Online
To pay in apps and on the web with Google Pay, select Google Pay as the payment method during checkout. Look for these logos online to identify sites where Google Pay can be used:

Adding your Citizens National Bank Mastercard® to Samsung Pay is as easy as snapping a photo.

To set up Samsung Pay (now integrated into Samsung Wallet), ensure your phone is logged into your Samsung Account and NFC is enabled.

Initial App Setup

  1. Open the App: Locate and launch Samsung Wallet (or Samsung Pay) on your device. If it's not pre-installed, download it from the Galaxy Store.

  2. Authenticate: Tap Get Started and sign in to your Samsung Account.

  3. Set Up Security: Create a 4-digit Samsung Wallet PIN, then enable Fingerprint or Iris recognition for faster verification at checkout.

Adding a Debit or Credit Card

  1. Tap the + icon (or Add Card) on the home screen.

  2. Select Payment cards.

  3. Scan Card: Use the camera frame to scan your card details automatically, or select Enter manually.

  4. Accept your bank's terms and conditions.

  5. Complete identity verification (usually via an SMS code, email, or bank app call).

Setting Up on a Galaxy Watch

  1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your paired smartphone.

  2. Go to Watch Settings > Pay (or tap Samsung Pay depending on your watch model).

  3. Set a security PIN on the watch face if prompted.

  4. Follow the prompts to add or import cards to the watch.

Samsung Pay transactions are covered by fraud protection and authenticated by your fingerprint, pin number or facial scan. Plus, Samsung Knox and tokenization add extra layers of security. Tokenization creates a unique randomized set of numbers to be used at each new transaction, so your real card number is never used from your phone. Samsung Knox technology constantly monitors your phone to keep your information safe. Your card information is encrypted in a separate and secure data vault at all times.
