Jerry Claunch Appointed to Pulaski County Public Library Board of Trustees

On March 23, 2010, Pulaski County Fiscal Court approved the appointment of Jerry Claunch to the Pulaski County Public Library Board of Trustees. He is Executive Vice President and Senior Lender of Citizens National Bank where he has been employed for 33 years.

“I feel honored to have been asked to serve as a library trustee,” said Claunch. “I believe the library serves an important role in our community. Pulaski Countians are blessed to have such a state-of-the-art facility is downtown Somerset, several branch locations, and a superior library staff to serve them.”

Having been active in numerous community organizations, Claunch is currently a Board Member of United Way of South Central Kentucky where he is serving his second term as President of the organization. He is also a Board Member of the Downtown Somerset Development Corporation where he serves as chairman of the Economic Restructuring committee.

Claunch and his wife, Sue, are active members of Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
