Kentucky Housing Corporation Honors Citizens National Bank

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC), the state housing finance agency, recognized its 2009 top lending partners of affordable mortgage loans at the Fifth Annual Lender Luncheon on Tuesday, March 9, in Frankfort.

Citizens National Bank’s Dennis Tindle was recognized as one of the top loan officers in the state for KHC. Tindle, Vice President of Mortgage Lending, joined Citizens National Bank in February 2009 and serves as the bank’s government mortgage loan specialist.

Brenda Walker, senior director of Kentucky Housing’s Homeownership Department, said, “Our lending partners are the bridge between our home loan products and the Kentuckians we serve. KHC offers loans for first-time buyers and previous homeowners in targeted counties. Since its creation in 1972, more than 81,000 Kentucky households have become homeowners by obtaining a KHC loan.

Kentucky Housing Corporation offers at or below-market-rate home loans, at a 30-year fixed interest rate including conventional, Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Administration, and Rural Housing Service loans. Several down payment assistance programs are available to help home buyers afford closing costs and down payment requirements.
