Loan Production Office Opens in Wayne County

Donald E. Bloomer, President and CEO announces the opening of a Loan Production Office in Monticello on March 23, 2009.The loan production office is located at 181 Cumberland Crossing. “We are excited about the opportunity to be a part of the growing Monticello/Wayne County community. We look forward to establishing long lasting relationships in the area.

A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting was held on Friday, April 10, 2009. We served hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, cole slaw and desserts. Over 300 people came out for the celebration.

Citizens National Bank’s loan production office is managed by Allen Rankin. Allen was born and raised in Monticello. He graduated from Monticello High School and received an associate degree from Somerset Community College. Allen has over six years of banking experience and graduated from the Kentucky School of Banking. Most recently he managed Rankin’s Kentucky Food Store for over twenty five years. He and his wife, Teresa, have two sons, Greg and Corey, and they are members of First Christian Church.

Citizens National Bank also welcomes Rhonda Simpson. Rhonda grew up in Monticello, graduating from Monticello High School and receiving an associate degree from Somerset Community College. She has over four years of banking experience. Rhonda is active in the community currently serving as President of the Wayne County Ag Council, Director of the Wayne County Fair Board, and is a member of Wayne County FFA Alumni and Wayne County 4-H Council. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Monticello.
