On June 20, 2008, Don Bloomer, President and CEO of Citizens National Bank announces the promotion of Phyllis Glover and Karen Owens to Assistant Cashier.

Phyllis Glover has worked at Citizens National Bank since March 1984. She has spent most of that 24 years as teller and Branch Coordinator at the Plaza Branch and was recently named Branch Manager in April, 2008. Phyllis graduated from Pulaski County High School and has attended many banking classes and seminars. She is married to Lindsey Glover and they have one son. Phyllis has worked in Casting for Kids for Buck Creek Bass Masters and is a member of New Enterprise Baptist Church.
Karen Owens has worked at Citizens National Bank for almost 18 years and is currently the Waitsboro Branch Manager. Karen brings years of experience to her position for she has worked in bookkeeping, account services, loan processing and commercial loans. Karen graduated from Pulaski County High School and is married to Robert Owens. They are members of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
