Don Bloomer, Jerry Claunch and Lisa Compton Promoted

Citizens National Bank’s Board of Directors announces the promotion of the following bank employees;
Don Bloomer, Jerry Claunch & Lisa Compton.

Don Bloomer has been promoted to President/CEO of Citizens National Bank. He has been with the bank for 31 years and held various positions within the bank. Don is a graduate of Eubank High School, Somerset Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Management, and Eastern Kentucky University where he received a BBA in Finance. He is also a graduate of the Kentucky School of Banking, School of Banking of the South, and the School of Banking Administration. Don is the past president of the Somerset/Pulaski Chamber of Commerce, Somerset Kiwanis Club, and Somerset Lions Club. He is current President of the Somerset/Pulaski County Economic Development Foundation, Board Member of the Boy Scouts of America Bluegrass Council, and Chairman of the Pulaski County Industrial Development Authority. Don lives in Somerset with his wife, Rhonda and they have two sons, Macy and Elliot. He is a member of the Southside Church of Christ.

Jerry Claunch has been with Citizen’s for 30 years and has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Senior Lender. He is a graduate of Somerset High School and Somerset Community College where he received an Associates Degree. Jerry is also a graduate of the ABA National Graduate Trust School, School of Banking of the South, Commercial Lending School and the Kentucky School of Banking. He is Board Member/Treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Board Member/Fund Distribution for United Way of South Central Kentucky, and a member of the Downtown Somerset Development Corporation Board. Jerry lives in Somerset with his wife, Sue and they have a son, Evan and daughter-in-law, Alicia. He is a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church where he is Sunday School Director and church musician.

Lisa Compton has been promoted to Senior Vice PresidentCashier and Head of Operations. She has been with the bank for 33 years. Lisa is a graduate of Somerset High School, Somerset Community College where she received an Associates Degree and the Kentucky School of Banking. She has been a member of the American Red Cross Board, Lake Cumberland Performing Arts Board, Lions Club and works in fund raising for several charity organizations. Lisa lives in Somerset with her husband, Gary and they have two sons, Aaron and Brett and daughter-in-laws, Monica & Kasey. She is a member of the Science Hill Nazarene Church where she has been a Sunday School teacher for 20 years.
